To join a semester course you should have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent. If your English language skills are below this level you will first need to enrol on an English language course.

Anglo-Continental School of English and the Arts University College at Bournemouth have a joint educational programme that offers you the opportunity to improve your English language skills in preparation for your future study at the University College. Depending on your initial level of English and the level of English required to follow your course at the Arts University College at Bournemouth, you can enrol onto an English language course for a period of 2 to 48 weeks.
