Photography Summer School
Duration - 4 weeks
Our Summer Photography courses are designed for individuals who are looking for the additional skills to enable them to, turn a preferred interest into something more rewarding. All four successive short courses can be completed individually or as a compressive four week programme.
Introduction to Photography – week 1
A not to be missed opportunity to learn all you want to know about how to manually operate a camera and take ‘great’ pictures. At the end of the course you will be comfortable with; shutter speed, aperture, lens control and picture making components such as composition, subject and lighting
The Photographic Studio – week 2
This popular experimental course allows you to develop your photographic skills. The course focuses on digital photography and creative picture making. You will experiment with; camera functions, colour management, digital printing, studio lighting, portraiture, still life and location photography, while developing your own creativity and ideas
Photography on Location – week 3
This course is designed for students who already have a good basic level of photographic skills. It aims to develop your knowledge and capabilities to a professional level. A practical approach includes; workshops and location shoots, landscape photography and lighting on location.
Advanced Digital Photography – week 4
This advanced course is designed to take you through to the next stage of your digital photography. Industry professionals will guide you through the most popular commercial standard imaging applications, whilst exploring advanced digital techniques and commercial applications.
